The formation of Ideas of Psychological Help to Children with Mental Illnesses from the Late Nineteenth Century to the 30s of the Twentieth Century

Annotation

In this article, the authors have made an attempt to make a systematical description of approaches, therapy models and data on efficiency of this or that method in working with children with psychopathologies in the period of development of psycholo­gy as a science (from the late nineteenth century to the 30s of the twentieth century). The authors make a conclusion about a gradual change of ideas about psychological help to children with psychopathology in the process of development of psychology as a scien­ce from the notions of a child with psychopathology as an object of influence to the idea of him as a subject of the therapeutic process.
