Meaning of Ethno-Cultural Traditions in Ecological and Artistic Activities of Children

Annotation

The article highlights a number of Slavic nations' cultural traditions, gives their reinter-pretation in the context of modern ecological and artistic education. Based on the methodo­logy of the Russian school of traditionalism, author concludes that ethno-cultural traditions of the previous generations laid the foundation for modern art direction called "artcycling". Moscow school students' questionnaire survey results indicate their readiness for this kind of ecological and artistic activities, understood as an environmental protection measure.
