Annotation

The article deals with the dynamic aspects of the formation of self-anti-ideal in persons with intellectual disabilities of youth and adult age. The presented structure of the Self is responsible for the formation of negative prototypes in self-consciousness associated with the unwillingness of the subject to resemble in implementation of overt behaviour and in the internal content of attitudes, aspirations, positions on this prototype. When studying the I-anti-ideal construct using relevant techniques, it is possible to describe it phenomenologi-cally and track its dynamic changes by analyzing mainly narrative representations.
