Educational Value of English-Language Young Adult Dystopias

Annotation

The article considers characteristic features of young adult dystopias and summarises the reasons for their popularity among readers. The author outlines a circle of problems touched upon in the books in question and proposes the possibilities of applying the books in teaching English in accordance with the requirements of Curriculum guidelines.
