The publishing house Kalinka (Sao Paulo) together with the art producer Ars et Vita (Rio de Janeiro), first published in Brazil the book Tarakanische by Kornej Chukovskij in 2016. The book was enthusiastically accepted by readers, which marked in 2017 the beginning of the work with a workshop named "Playing to be a Writer" for children aged from 7 to 12. In the article the author provides not only detailed information about this workshop, but also discusses the methodology for conducting it, and analyzes some of the manuscript books created by children.
