Annotation

The article is devoted to the topical for the Russian education problems of develop­ment and assessment of the level of formation of the critical thinking at students in a mo­dern school. The article presents Singapore's experience, demonstrating in a stable way high educational results in the international PISA study. In the article the author stably examines in detail the place of critical thinking in the updated curricula of this country, and also describes the tools for measuring the competence achievements of schoolchildren.
