Annotation

The article is devoted to the problems of diagnostics and the development of emotional intelligence and social competence of the child of the senior preschool age as one of the most important predictors of academic success. The authors carried out empirical research on the development of methods of assessment and development of emotional intelligence and social competence of senior preschoolers in the conditions of modern educational oiganization.
