Annotation

The COVID-19 pandemic has become a test of the viability and functionality of educational systems, including university education. The solution of the current tasks of transferring educational institutions of higher education to a remote work format has brought to a new level of relevance the provision of feedback from the university administration with participants in the educational process — students and teachers. Educational practices during the pandemic have undergone transformations in terms of the organization and conduct of classes, the achievement of educational results and the formation of the competence profile of students. For a pedagogical university, such a challenge and understanding of the vectors of development of pedagogical innovations are relevant not only as current practices, but also as an experience with which graduates — future teachers — will go as teachers to educational organizations in the region. The main method of collecting primary sociological information was a survey of students and teachers of the Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute through the electronic educational environment of the university 113 research and teaching staff and 1,238 students took part in the study. As a result of the study of the opinions of the pedagogical community and students, information was obtained about the organization and quality of the educational process of the pedagogical university in the conditions of a pandemic, allowing to improve the educational process.
