The article is devoted to the issues of providing comprehensive assistance to children of early and younger preschool age with disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The relevance of this issue is due to the increase in the number of children in this category. The article emphasizes that motor development is the foundation for the development of a child of early and preschool age. In order to develop the content of psychological and pedagogical assistance to children of early and preschool age with motor disorders, the authors conducted a comprehensive study of children using the methods developed by O. G. Prikhodko “Map-scheme of a comprehensive examination of young children”, E. A. Strebeleva “Psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of the development of children of early and preschool age”, as well as the tasks proposed within the innovative program of preschool education developed by N. E. Veraksa, T. S. Komarova, E. M. Dorofeeva “From birth to school”. The results of the survey were evaluated according to a point system (0-4 points). The article presents the results of a comprehensive study of children of early and younger preschool age with orthopedic pathology. Based on the results of the psychological and pedagogical study, the authors propose a model of psychological and pedagogical support for children of early and preschool age with orthopedic pathology in an educational organization. The main purpose of the model is correction and development of the main tracks of development, such as motor, cognitive, social, and speech development of children with motor pathology through psychological and pedagogical support organized at an educational organization.
