Annotation

In this article, the authors consider M. A. Bulgakov’s novel “The Master and Margarita” as a linguistic and cultural text by analyzing the precedent lexical units functioning in it. They are an artistic reflection of the Soviet way of life of the 1930s where the “Moscow” chapters are based on. The relevance of the study of this problem is due to the need to work with linguistic and cultural codes, formation and expansion of the precedent field of the linguistic personality of students. In this regard, the article focuses on the need to work with the methodological aspect of considering the issue of studying precedent texts in the process of modern school philological education. In this regard, the purpose of the article is the need to work with the methodological aspect of considering the issue of studying precedent texts in the process of modern school philological education. The article focuses on the close connection between historical reality and its creative reinterpretation through the consideration of precedent texts on the pages of M. A. Bulgakov’s novel and the meta-objective nature of the proposed work. The basis of the methodological research is the system of tasks presented by the authors, it affords for a deep and comprehensive analysis of precedent texts from the novel by M. A. Bulgakov “The Master and Margarita” in terms of a historical and cultural point of view in the literature lesson. Tasks are accompanied by the fragments from Soviet and Russian historical sources, so they are aimed at a comprehensive analysis of Soviet reality and its artistic reinterpretation by the writer. In addition, the article provides the examples of proposed historical references as a methodological support for teachers. The proposed task system demonstrates the effectiveness of work with precedent texts as a lexical unit that artistically interprets historical reality and deeps into the details of the analysis of the novel. The article also offers creative and research perspectives for further work with the educational product of such an activity, expanding the intellectual and cognitive student’s opportunities. The materials presented in the article we recommend for realization not only in the literature lesson, but also in a binary lesson in 11th grade together with teachers of social and economic disciplines.
