Annotation

The relevance of the topic is caused by the fact that exactly the family forms the child’s personality, and later a young man and an adult. Hence, the study of the problems of child-parent relations is relevant due to its importance in the formation and development of the younger generations and their determination of their place in life. This article is devoted to the analysis and generalization of various forms and styles of family upbringing. The author shows that with all the variety of styles of family upbringing, they should be based on the love of parents for children and responsibility for their future. We have drawn a special attention to the negative styles of family education, which adversely affect the psychology, behavior and personality of the child. The author writes that there are no “pure” styles of upbringing, that each of them contains elements of others, including negative ones. Today, family upbringing styles are becoming more diverse, due to the influence of cultural, economic and social factors on the development of their lifestyles, meanings and goals. We carried out the analysis of foreign and domestic classifications of styles (types) of family upbringing, which allows us to understand better the relevance and multidimensionality of the studied problem. The results of research on styles of child-parent relations are of interest to psychologists, teachers and parents, and serve to solve problems for further study of this topic.
