Annotation
The article considers the connection between the dialectical thinking of preschool children and the peculiarities of mental images, through which children interpret the surrounding reality. The works of several authors speak of three forms of igurative representation: sign, dialectic and symbolic. Diagnostic tools were developed for their study which can help to assess the possibility of using mental images as a means of analyzing various situations.
