Annotation
The study is devoted to the problem of subjective attitude of modern students of 1-4 grades to their learning activities in the conditions of study in primary school. The diagnostic tool of the research was the technology of assessing the possibilities of primary school students in using the Russian language textbook. Processing of received data allowed to determine the dynamics of the development of individual skills and to assess the existing gender differences. The presented technology can be used in the diagnosis of the educational failure of primary school students.
