Annotation

The organization of international mobility in China is recognized by a number of resear- chers as successful in terms of the scale of integration of scientists and students of this country into the academic and educational processes of other countries. In this article, we examined international academic mobility in China from the perspective of searching for organizational and pedagogical conditions that adapt students and researchers to foreign educational techno- logies and academic traditions. According to the authors of the article, the interest of students and researchers in this country in moving around the world for scientific and educational pur- poses is based on the national characteristics and specifics of living in China. In this regard, the article reveals the prerequisites for the development of outgoing and incoming mobility in China, the main directions for the activation and implementation of academic mobility; analyzes the experience of Chinese universities in this direction, as well as the organizational and pedagogical difficulties faced by the academic community of this country, and gives recommendations. The experience of stimulating international academic mobility in China is remarkable because it is fully supported by the state at the level of legislation, is part of the state development program of the country, thanks to which favorable conditions are created for maintaining and developing the process of moving scientists and students to other countries and then returning them in order to prevent “brain drain”. The materials presented in the article are of interest to heads of higher education institutions and structural divisions of higher education institutions seeking to institutionalize international academic mobility in their educational institutions, as well as teachers interacting with students from China.
