Annotation
The article discusses the features of the development of ideas about the cyclical nature of space and time, and the processes occurring in them. The key difficulties arising in the process of development of ideas about the cyclical nature of space and time are highlighted. The feature of perception of space and time in children of senior preschool age, presented in the psychological-pedagogical literature, is analyzed. The features of the development of ideas about the cyclical nature of spatial-temporal processes taking into account sex differences are revealed.
