Abstract. The article is devoted to the experience of approbation of models of learning communities of teachers in the context of skill development program «Organization and mentoring support for the activities of learning communities of tea-chers». It is focused not only on individual teachers, but on teams of educational organizations interested in solving professional and educational problems through the activities of learning communities of teachers. The main goal of the program is to create conditions for the organization and functioning of learning communities of teachers in each school, which participates in the approbation of models of learning communities of teachers. This implies the elimination of contradictions between the predetermined structure of the skill development program, the requirements for its creation and the real demand of educational organizations. The authors described the theoretical and practical models of learning communities of teachers. These models are formed the basis for the development of the program content. There are some stages of its implementation: introduction to the problems of learning communities of teachers and their mentoring support», «Awareness of teachers of their role in the learning community of teachers», «Problem solving», «Building a model of learning community of teachers», «Presentation of models of learning communities of teachers». These stages ensure the gradual movement of teachers from understanding their individual meanings of the activity to the choice of significant problems of work and, finally, the development and practical implementation of models of learning communities of teachers. In conclusion it were said about the effectiveness of the selected format of professional development of teaching staff. The possibilities of using the results of this work are indicated.
