The relevance of the study is due to the new role of independent work. In the presence of various resources, including Internet resources, the question arises about the expediency and effectiveness of their use. Now the role of independent work has increased so much that it has to be specially planned, special forms and methods have to be created for it, time, premises and technical resources have to be allocated. The need for the development of research and project competencies, ways of forming new educational techniques in the context of e-learning has increased, therefore, independent work using Internet resources is gradually becoming the main form of organizing the educational process. In this regard, this article is aimed at studying the organization of independent work of students using Internet resources. The article reveals that the organization of independent work using Internet resources is effective because a variety of textbooks are offered to students in open access, which are supported by video materials, illustrations, explanations of teachers. The student can choose the resource that is more accessible to him in the study, and do it himself. The Internet is a platform for the development of imagination, a way of self-expression and the development of creative abilities of students. They give students the opportunity to independently extract information, actively participate in various competitions, Olympiads. The materials presented in the article allow us to believe that independent work is one of the main forms of organizing educational activities in modern education. Summing up the above, we note: the use of Internet resources is becoming an integral part of our lives, and the reasonable use of them in the educational process allows us, teachers, to improve the quality of work, to diversify the forms of work with students.
