Annotation

The article discusses the Action Research method from the perspective of its application in Russian preschool education to develop the competence of preschool teachers and improve the quality of preschool education, as a way to democratize the organizational culture of kindergartens and schools. A literature review is carried out, representing both the methodological foundations and modern research on the use of the method in social practice, including education. The results of a pilot study of the perspective of Moscow preschool teachers to their personal and professional development are presented. Theoretical and empirical studies substantiate the authors’ proposals for developing a concept for the development of the practice of Action Research in the conditions of Moscow preschool education. The article may be useful for preschool teachers — in terms of applying the method for individualized work with children, for senior teachers and methodologists of kindergartens — in terms of improving the quality of methodological support for teachers and improving organizational culture, for researchers in the field of education — in terms of exploring opportunities method, for representatives of management structures — from the point of view of the development of regional systems of preschool education.
