Annotation
This article examines the relationship between authenticity and the quality of romantic relationships during early adulthood. The study involved 73 respondents aged 18–35 years. A set of psychodiagnostic tools was used, including the Kernis – Goldman Authenticity Inventory (AI‑3), the Multidimensional Inventory of Marital and Romantic
Attachment (MIMARA), and the Test of Existential Motivations in Interpersonal Relationships (TEMIR). Analysis using non‑parametric statistical methods (Kruskal – Wallis test,
Spearman’s correlation coefficient) revealed significant correlations between the variables and identified intergroup differences in scores depending on romantic relationship status (formal marriage, casual relationships, monogamous unregistered relationships).
