Annotation
The article presents the results of the educational study through the phenomenon of «school culture». The analysis of its content, component composition, used in various scientific concepts is carried out. The hypothesis that one of the reasons for the crisis of traditional school culture is a generational gap intensified by a change in the institution of the family today, insufficient dissemination of democratic instruments in education management, personnel imbalance at school is confirmed.
