Annotation

The article presents the methodology of psychological and pedagogical expertise of toys, based on domestic and foreign experience. As a basis of the criteria of expertise there are put requirement of safety of toys, the functions performed by the toy in cognitive and personal deve­lopment of the child, as well as age and sociocultural features of the toy. The developed me­thodology of psychological and pedagogical expertise of a toy was tested by teachers-practitio­ners with significant experience of work.
