Annotation

The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of concepts, categories, definitions in the field of health and healthy lifestyles included in the federal state educational standards, sample work programs of basic general education and textbooks on the subjects “The World Around Us”, “Basics of Life Safety”, “Biology”, “Physical Culture”. The analytical base was made up of 17 textbooks and sample work programs used in four Moscow schools. A comparative analysis of normative and legal documents, school textbooks, and educational programs revealed inconsistencies in the definition of basic concepts, arbitrary interpretations of medical terms, inconsistency with normative documents in the field of health conservation, and a lack of consistency and continuity of knowledge about health. The task is to bring the content and definitions in the field of health in accordance with the modern achievements of medical science and Russian normative legal documents.
