Annotation

The article is devoted to the analysis of socio-psychological training as a means of overcoming anxiety among volunteer students interacting with people with disabilities. The relevance of this work is due to the need to improve inclusive volunteerism as an important resource in providing assistance to people with disabilities, which is carried out through support and interaction. In this regard, this work is aimed at identifying the possibilities of training and evaluating its effectiveness in overcoming the anxiety of student volunteers interacting with people with disabilities. The leading method of the formative experiment was socio-psychological training. The paper presents the main directions, stages, criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training work, the results of a ascertaining and control experiment on the methodology of diagnosing anxiety by J. P. Blavatsky. Taylor (adaptation by V. G. Norakidze). The data from an empirical study before and after the training, in which 143 student volunteers participated, allow us to conclude that this method is effective in reducing the anxiety of student volunteers interacting with people with disabilities, and the developed special training program helps to address issues of effective interaction.
