Annotation
This article addresses the pressing issue of imagination development among preschool children amid the rapid digitalization of educational practices and the growing presence of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in education. It examines the transformation of traditional approaches to fostering children’s imagination under the influence of digital factors. The study presents an analysis highlighting both positive and negative aspects of the impact of digital technologies on the imagination of preschoolers. On this basis, the study concludes that, on the one hand, digital technologies and artificial intelligence constitute an integral factor in the development of imagination in today’s children; on the other hand, the key task for parents and educators lies in the reasonable and balanced integration of digital tools into the educational process, taking into account the findings of ongoing and future psychological and pedagogical research
